Job Description

Perform installations, upgrades and patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring, and configuration.
Define standards for physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security administration.
Configure database parameters and define data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing requirements.
Design and implement approaches to improve database performance, capacity, and scalability.
Design, develop, and implement the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Create packages to import and export data from various sources and destinations.
Monitor and optimize the performance of SSIS and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) jobs and troubleshoot issues. Develop and maintain documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and data lineage.
Identify and troubleshoot performance issues and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal database performance.
Develop and optimize complex Transact SQL (T-SQL) queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into SQL Server databases, while ensuring high performance, data accuracy, and data integrity.
Consult with Solutions Architects, DBAs, Developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders as required to ensure databases meet business needs.
Participate in a 24x7 on call rotation.
Assume other duties as assigned.
