Job Description

Role Overview: XYZ is a leading operations management and analytics company that focuses on helping businesses improve growth and profitability through the use of their proprietary Business erator Framework. They serve various industries such as insurance, healthcare, banking, financial services, utilities, travel, transportation, and logistics. The company has over 24,000 professionals spread across different locations globally. The Analytics division of XYZ provides data-driven solutions to business problems using advanced analytics techniques and a consultative approach. They have a global team of data scientists and analysts who assist clients with risk minimization, marketing strategies, cost analysis, and resource optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Project task management - Define project deliverables and controls, ensuring adherence - Supervise and assist the team in project execution and delivery - Monitor project progress and ensure client expectations are met - Communications, including deck writing - Coordination of sub-team efforts, creation of project plan, defining milestones and timelines - Facilitation and gathering of client feedback on problem structuring - Building capabilities in junior team members - Technical skills required include experience in SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya, migration from SAS EG to SAS Viya, scheduling backups, reading SAS logs, data extraction, transformation, and loading, data quality checks, and optimization of data processing and storage. - Soft skills needed include strong work ethic, effective communication, continuous improvement mindset, critical thinking, organizational skills, initiative, ownership, and willingness to become an expert in the field.
