Spot Account Coordinator (Logistics)

We are hiring on behalf of a valued client in the transportation industry, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring round-the-clock freight visibility and communication.

About the Role

As an After-Hours Logistics Specialist, you will be instrumental in supporting supply chain continuity during non-business hours. You will manage shipment visibility, relay real-time updates, communicate directly with drivers or carrier reps, and assist with time-sensitive issue resolution. Your contributions will help drive customer satisfaction, mitigate service failures, and uphold operational excellence overnight and during weekends in the U.S.—which aligns with India daytime working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and trace shipments actively from pickup to delivery using internal tools and customer portals.
• Provide real-time updates on load statuses, delays, or critical events via email and software systems.
• Collaborate with carriers, drivers, and customer representatives to address service exceptions or disruptions.
• Monitor open orders and prioritize cases that require urgent action or customer-facing communication.
• Escalate high-risk or delayed shipments in accordance with predefined protocols.
• Update appointment information as necessary to support delivery accuracy and efficiency.
• Document interactions and issue resolutions clearly and consistently to ensure visibility for daytime teams.
• Identify recurring service gaps and assist in creating recommendations for process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight operations, particularly in high-volume or time-sensitive environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-first approach.
• Proven ability to multitask under pressure and manage workload with minimal supervision during overnight shifts (India daytime).
• Comfort with using transportation management systems (TMS), CRMs, and customer tracking platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and proactive attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on client needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
