Sports Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Sports Scientist to join our performance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in applied physiology, biomechanics, and data analytics, with a passion for optimizing athletic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement performance monitoring systems, including GPS, heart rate, and wellness tracking
• Collect, analyze, and interpret physiological and biomechanical data to inform training and recovery strategies
• Conduct fitness assessments (e.g., VO2 max, lactate threshold, strength/power profiling) and provide feedback to coaching and medical teams
• Develop and refine athlete monitoring protocols to support load management and injury prevention
• Collaborate with coaches, physiotherapists, strength & conditioning coaches, and medical staff to align performance goals
• Translate scientific findings into practical strategies for use in training environments
• Stay abreast of the latest research and technological developments in sports science
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to performance reports and case studies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, or related field
• Master’s degree (MSc) in Sports Science, High-Performance Sport, or a related discipline (preferred)
• Experience working in a high-performance, team sport, or athletic development setting
• Proficient in using performance technologies such as GPS tracking, force plates, timing gates, and athlete management systems (AMS)
• Excellent communication and report writing skills

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Accreditation or certification from a recognized sports science or strength & conditioning body (e.g., ASCA, NSCA, BASES, ESSA)
• Experience working with elite athletes or within a professional sporting organization
• Familiarity with injury surveillance and return-to-play metrics
• Ability to interpret research and apply it in practical training environments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
