Sports Director

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Director of Sports to lead and advance our sports department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive sports strategies aligned with university goals and long-term vision.
2. Lead annual departmental planning and performance evaluation in accordance with institutional priorities and policies.
3. Drive student participation and talent development through inclusive, structured, and competitive sports programs.
4. Promote sports excellence both internally and externally, positioning the university as a leader in athletic development.
5. Represent the university in all sporting matters with national and regional.
6. Lead, mentor, and appraise the sports department and coaching staff, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
7. Oversee the organization and execution of all sports events, inter-university tournaments, and internal competitions.
8. Coordinate sports team fixtures, logistics, travel, and budgeting for all competitive and recreational teams.
9. Manage the sports budgets, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources.
10. Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all coaching practices.
11. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sports governance regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in Sports Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a sports director or equivalent role.
• Strong knowledge of sports governance, compliance, and inclusive program development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
