WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of Bain’s global Experienced Talent Recruiting (ETR) team, responsible for identifying and attracting top-tier experienced professionals for roles across our Expert Client Delivery and Functional Professionals groups. Based in our Gurgaon (Gurugram), near New Delhi, India office, you’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and cross-functional teams across geographies and time zones.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As a Specialist, you’ll support full cycle recruiting efforts under general direction, working with your supervisor to align on hiring needs, help deliver a positive candidate experience, and use available data to inform and improve the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support structured, end-to-end recruiting processes, including role intake, sourcing, scheduling, interview planning, and offer steps, under general direction from your supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system and use available data to help guide decision-making, escalating insights where appropriate.
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience by managing communications and ensuring smooth coordination at each stage.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidate fit for junior and early-career roles based on established criteria.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, with support from your supervisor, to clarify role requirements, set expectations, and share timely updates.
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics (e.g., time to fill, candidate pipeline progress) and identify areas to improve, flagging findings to your supervisor.
  • Anticipate potential process challenges and partner with your supervisor to develop solutions.
  • Coordinate closely with recruiting operations, coordination, sourcing, and HR teams to support efficient workflows.

ABOUT YOU

Must-haves

  • 1–3 years of recruiting experience, ideally supporting junior or functional hiring
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently with general direction
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Effective listening skills and comfort partnering with hiring managers and teammates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Commitment to delivering excellent experiences to candidates and hiring partners

Nice-to-haves

  • Recruiting experience in consulting or professional services
  • Interest in using data and metrics to enhance recruiting effectiveness
