About our team
Fidelity's Analytics function in India supports the company's global Sales, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Customer Service, and HR teams. The function's main objectives include developing a deep understanding of customers, identifying sales growth opportunities, refining products and services, and developing market and competitive intelligence. The Analytics function works closely with business heads and senior stakeholders to identify areas of analytics, define problem statements, and develop key insights.
About the role

We are looking for a Specialist - Analytics to join our team and help us with the following tasks:

Analysis and insight generation: You will use various data sources and methods to explore, understand, and communicate patterns, trends, and insights that are relevant to our clients and stakeholders.

Creating ML models: You will apply machine learning techniques and tools to build, evaluate, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models that address our business challenges and opportunities.

Dashboarding and storytelling: You will create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that highlight our data analysis and model results in a clear and compelling way.

Data Engineering: You will collaborate with the Data Engineering teams to enhance data availability and automate processes.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or economics).

At least 7 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or similar fields.

Proficient in Python, SQL, or comparable programming languages; experienced with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

Skilled in using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Familiarity with Knime, Alteryx, or similar platforms is advantageous.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a logical approach to addressing complex challenges.

Effective communicator, able to present data-driven insights and stories to senior stakeholders; supports business leaders in defining problems and making decisions.

Demonstrates adaptability, takes ownership in ambiguous situations, and successfully manages projects independently.

Works collaboratively within cross-functional and global teams.
