Job Role: Special Education & Occupational Therapy Coordinator Location: DLF Phase 1, Gurgaon The Special Education & Occupational Therapy Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and integrating special education services and occupational therapy programs to support students with diverse learning and developmental needs. This position bridges educational and therapeutic interventions to ensure inclusive, functional, and holistic student development. Key Responsibilities: Program Coordination & Leadership Design, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Coordinate and supervise special education and OT staff. Serve as the central point of contact for case management of students requiring both special education and occupational therapy interventions. Assessment & Intervention Conduct and/or review educational and functional assessments to determine student needs. Oversee the planning and execution of interventions. Ensure integration of therapeutic strategies into classroom settings. Collaboration & Training Collaborate to promote inclusive practices and support student development. Provide training, coaching, and workshops for teaching staff and aides on strategies for inclusive education and classroom adaptations. Monitoring & Compliance Maintain documentation in accordance with legal, regulatory, and institutional standards (e.g., RCI, IEP documentation, therapy reports). Track and evaluate student progress, revising intervention plans as needed. Qualifications: Master’s in Special Education or related field (M.Ed. in Special Education) Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy (BOT or MOT) Additional certifications in Sensory Integration, Autism Intervention, or Learning Disabilities (preferred) Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in special education and/or occupational therapy, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
