Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers and recruitment teams to understand job requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, social media, professional networks, alumni pools, referrals, and other channels

Identify and engage passive candidates through headhunting, direct outreach, Boolean search techniques, and networking

Screen potential candidates, conduct initial outreach, pre-qualification calls, and candidate engagement to assess interest and fit

Maintain and update candidate databases, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and sourcing pipelines

Track and manage candidate information, communication, status updates, and follow-ups in the ATS

Build and nurture relationships with prospective hires (passive and active), keeping them engaged throughout the hiring process

Assist in employer branding efforts, candidate outreach campaigns, referral programs, and talent community building

Provide regular reports/metrics on sourcing activities, pipeline health, time to contact, source of hire, response rates, etc.

Continuously research and apply new sourcing tools, market trends, and recruitment best practices to refine and improve sourcing processes

Support the recruitment team in optimizing candidate experience, ensuring timely follow-ups and feedback

Work on special sourcing projects or hiring drives, especially for challenging or niche roles

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Prior experience (typically 1–3+ years) in sourcing, recruiting, talent acquisition, or similar roles

Familiarity with sourcing methodologies, candidate databases, Boolean search strategies, and online sourcing tools

Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with candidate outreach, email communication, and engagement

Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking capabilities

Analytical mindset and ability to track, measure, and report on sourcing effectiveness and pipeline metrics

Self-driven, proactive, and creative approach to locating and engaging talent, especially passive candidates

Ability to work under time constraints and manage multiple hiring assignments simultaneously

Comfortable working in a team and collaborating with recruiters, hiring teams, and HR partners

Preferred / Additional Skills

Familiarity with employer branding, talent pipeline building, and referral programs

Networking experience with campus hiring, alumni networks, or industry forums

Knowledge of current recruitment trends, sourcing tools, and candidate engagement practices

Prior exposure to high-volume hiring or sourcing for niche/technical roles
