About the Role Alkye's sister concern - Fittora merges AI precision with bespoke tailoring to deliver luxury, made-to-measure fashion. We’re seeking a highly capable Sourcing & Production Manager to oversee the procurement of fabrics, trims, and accessories while managing vendor relationships and production flow. This is a pivotal role in ensuring our supply chain matches the sophistication of our garments. Key Responsibilities · - Identify and evaluate fabric and trim suppliers aligned with luxury, sustainability, and fit standards. · - Negotiate costs, MOQs, lead times, and delivery terms with vendors for fabric, trims, and packaging materials. · - Ensure timely and high-quality procurement of zippers, linings, buttons, and specialty trims for production. · - Build and maintain a preferred vendor database with backup sources across all material categories. · - Work closely with garment technicians and pattern makers to anticipate material needs. · - Monitor supply timelines and mitigate bottlenecks across sampling and production. · - Implement traceable sourcing protocols that align with Fittora’s sustainability ethos. · - Oversee material audits and conduct incoming quality inspections of all sourced items. Skills & Qualifications · - 5+ years of sourcing or production experience in fashion or apparel manufacturing. · - Deep understanding of fabric types, garment trims, and vendor negotiation strategies. · - Proven ability to manage production timelines, costs, and inventory in a fast-paced environment. · - Experience working with custom or luxury apparel is highly desirable. · - Strong interpersonal and cross-functional coordination skills. · - Knowledge of compliance, ethical sourcing, and sustainable materials is a plus.
