About the Role

Sourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities

Identify and source products as per customer requirements, design briefs, and budgets.
Visit markets, exhibitions, and vendor locations to explore new products, materials, and trends.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure best value.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
Evaluate product quality, cost, and reliability of suppliers to ensure consistent standards.
Work closely with design, merchandising, and buying teams to align sourcing with business needs.
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and price fluctuations to make informed decisions.
Manage the end-to-end sourcing process from vendor identification to order placement and delivery follow-up.
Ensure timely procurement and adherence to quality and cost parameters.

Requirements

5-10 years of experience in
sourcing, buying, or procurement
in
home dcor.
Strong vendor network and understanding of local and regional markets.
Excellent negotiation, costing, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
Hands-on approach with willingness to travel to markets and vendor sites regularly.
Graduate in any discipline; MBA or equivalent in Supply Chain/Procurement preferred.
