Sourcing Executive

Waywen (waywen.in) is a D2C luxury brand that makes wallets, purfumes, and footwear. Key Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers (domestic and international). Initiate contact with suppliers to request quotations, compare rates, and arrange samples. Coordinate sample procurement, review quality, and provide feedback. Conduct on‐site supplier visits for verification of facilities, capacity, and compliance. Schedule and manage meetings (in person or virtual) with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) and order sheets, ensuring accuracy of terms and pricing. Maintain ongoing supplier relationships; monitor order status, production timelines, and delivery schedules. Escalate any delays or quality issues immediately and work with suppliers to resolve them. Qualifications: Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing competitive rates. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with PO‐tracking systems. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
