Job Title: EIR and Chief of Staff, Media Role Overview: As EIR and Chief of Staff, Media you’ll partner with our leadership to shape and execute all aspects of guest strategy, content operations, and cross‑team coordination—ensuring our podcast and media initiatives run like clockwork and scale efficiently. You will cross function between our brand Waywen and our content wing Key Responsibilities: Strategic Guest & Talent Pipeline: Define target guest personas aligned to brand goals (creators, actors, thought leaders). Architect a long‑term pipeline: sourcing from networks, alumni, industry databases, agencies. Advise leadership on high‑impact guest lineups and series planning. End‑to‑End Outreach Leadership: Oversee pitch messaging frameworks and personalization at scale. Set cadence for outreach, follow‑ups, and stakeholder touchpoints. Mentor or manage outreach specialists/associates. Operational Excellence & Project Management: Design and optimize workflows for booking, scheduling, and production handoffs. Implement and maintain dashboards (CRM, calendar, status tracking) for real‑time visibility. Anticipate roadblocks, troubleshoot logistics, and ensure on‑time delivery. Cross‑Functional Content Coordination: Liaise between hosts, producers, editors, and marketing to streamline asset flow. Establish content repurposing playbooks (social clips, blog posts, newsletters). Monitor KPIs (guest satisfaction, listener lift, referral traffic) and iterate. Leadership Support & Communication: Act as right hand to the Media Lead—facilitating decision‑making and priorities. Prepare executive summaries, briefing decks, and post‑mortem analyses. Drive team rituals: planning sessions, stand‑ups, retrospectives.
