Sourcing Executive

As a sourcing executive at Signode, you will play a crucial role in procuring materials at competitive prices and ensuring high quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning materials procurement from different vendors based on site requirements and meeting schedules. - Handling the purchase function of various product categories and supply chain fulfillment. - Getting monthly requirements from plants and various contract packaging sites. - Supplier production planning against indents for all products. - Compiling requirements, creating purchase orders, and informing suppliers. - Finalizing monthly costs for each product and releasing orders. - Following up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. - Monitoring product quality and conducting quality audits. - Ensuring proper documentation from suppliers for each truck/dispatch. - Developing new suppliers for product categories when required. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be involved in the development and implementation of new systems, supplier management in terms of inventories and system optimizations, and the use of digital tools. Qualifications required for this role include: - Mechanical Engineer with good academic performance (above 60% throughout) Experience and skills required: - 3 to 4 years of relevant experience - Knowledge of packaging products and user coordination - Understanding of GST, proper documentation - Proficiency in ERP and order management systems - Experience in supplier order tracking and logistics coordination - Tactical thinking and strong documentation skills Join Signode, the Transit Packaging Division of Crown Holdings, Inc., and be part of a company that is a pioneer in the industrial packaging sector.
