Sourcing Executive- Bangalore

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Associate to handle job work sourcing for Knit products, kidswear . The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable job work units, negotiating costs, ensuring quality compliance, and maintaining smooth production flow. Key Responsibilities 1. Vendor Identification & Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard job work units specializing in woven products. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent production quality. Conduct factory evaluations and compliance checks before onboarding new vendors. 2. Costing & Negotiation Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and production lead times. Work on cost optimization strategies without compromising on quality. Ensure budget adherence while meeting production and quality standards. 3. Production & Timelines Management Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely execution of orders. Monitor production schedules and WIP (Work in Progress) reports to avoid delays. Resolve any production bottlenecks in collaboration with job work units. 4. Quality Control & Compliance Ensure all sourced products meet required quality and compliance standards. Work closely with the quality team to conduct pre-production and final inspections. Implement corrective actions for quality issues and maintain AQL standards. 5. Market & Supplier Research Continuously explore new job work units to expand sourcing capabilities. Stay updated on market trends, fabric innovations, and new suppliers. Work on sourcing sustainable and cost-effective materials. Key Requirements Experience: years in sourcing Knit products (kidswear). Industry Exposure: Strong network of job work vendors, especially in Bangalore and nearby regions. Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Deep understanding of woven fabric, trims, and garment construction. Proficiency in costing, production tracking, and quality control. Education: Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or a related field. Show more Show less
