As one of the first Solutions Engineers at SpotDraft, you'll play a key role in bridging our Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams. Youll lead technical and product discussions during the sales cycle, demonstrate the value of SpotDrafts platform to prospects, and help design tailored solutions that solve complex contract management challenges.
This is a foundational role youll help define our solutions engineering processes, set best practices, and serve as a critical voice of the customer.
Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, solutioning, and product demonstrations during the sales cycle
Understand a prospects contracting workflows, data needs, and integrations and craft compelling solutions using SpotDrafts platform
Deliver customized demos, proofs-of-concept, and responses to RFPs and security questionnaires
Serve as a trusted product expert and advise on best practices across CLM use cases
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer needs and influence roadmap decisions
Help design and refine the solutions engineering playbook, demo environments, and technical sales collateral
Partner with post-sales teams to ensure a smooth customer handoff and implementation
What were looking for
36 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, solution consulting, or technical pre-sales preferably in SaaS or legal tech
A strong understanding of B2B workflows, enterprise software, and API-based integrations
Excellent communication and storytelling skills you can translate complex concepts into simple narratives
Empathy for customers and a passion for solving problems
Startup mindset comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build from the ground up
Bonus: Experience working with legal, procurement, or sales operations teams, or exposure to CLM / contract management platforms
