Solution Engineer

You will play a key role in architecting and delivering solutions that drive seamless customer experiences, streamline operations, and scale marketplace ecosystems. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing business requirements for ecommerce and marketplace platforms and translating them into scalable, robust technical solutions. - Designing and implementing features that support marketplace scalability, including multi-vendor capabilities, inventory management, and dynamic pricing models. - Ensuring high performance and availability of marketplace systems, including optimizing page load times, search functionality, and transaction processes. - Architecting solutions to handle growing marketplace traffic, vendor onboarding, and product catalog expansion. - Working with large data sets to ensure effective integration and processing of customer, vendor, and product data. - Collaborating with UX/UI teams to optimize customer and vendor journeys, including advanced search, personalization, and checkout flows. - Leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable ecommerce and marketplace systems. - Working with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Guiding junior engineers and contributing to team development by sharing best practices and expertise. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5-7 years of experience in solution engineering, with specific expertise in ecommerce and marketplace platforms. - Experience building or scaling multi-vendor marketplaces on platforms like Magento, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Mirakl, or custom solutions. - Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) or similar frameworks. - Experience designing microservices and headless commerce solutions tailored for marketplace environments. - Expertise in scaling high-traffic ecommerce systems, load balancing, caching, queuing, and database optimization. - Proven experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on scalability and reliability. - Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and analytics integration for actionable insights. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools to ensure uptime and system health. Preferred skills include experience with marketplace-specific features, advanced personalization engines, multi-currency and multi-language implementation, integrating with enterprise tools, and exposure to analytics and reporting tools. Soft skills required for this role include strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines, and leadership skills.
