Solution Architecture

Key Responsibilities

Solution Governance & Validation

• Review and validate solution architectures proposed by internal and external development teams across web, mobile, and backend platforms.
• Ensure alignment of every solution with defined enterprise standards and business goals.
• Perform architecture assessments for new initiatives and before go-lives.

Integration & SSO Guardrails

• Define architectural guardrails for seamless and secure integration across applications (internal and SaaS-based).
• Create and enforce guidelines for Single Sign-On (SSO) enablement across enterprise systems.
• Conduct architecture and integration reviews to ensure compliance.

SaaS Onboarding Oversight

• Evaluate and validate the solution and technical fit of third-party SaaS applications being onboarded.
• Ensure SaaS applications integrate well with the enterprise ecosystem, follow security policies, and adhere to performance standards.

Proof of Concepts (POCs) & Innovation

• Lead POCs for emerging technologies (AI, automation, cloud-native tools, event-driven architecture, etc.).
• Continuously explore and evaluate modern technologies that can address scalability, performance, or business growth opportunities.
• Provide technical insights and innovation proposals to leadership.

Performance & Scalability Engineering

• Identify bottlenecks in application architecture and recommend design improvements.
• Provide architectural input for addressing scalability and latency issues.

Documentation & Best Practices

• Maintain architectural documentation, decision logs, and solution review templates.
• Define and evolve best practices, reusable patterns, and standard solution blueprints.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software/solution architecture roles across large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS preferred), microservices, API design, integration architecture, and SSO frameworks.
• Exposure to onboarding and integrating SaaS platforms in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of modern frontend/backend stacks (React, Node.js, Spring Boot, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in building or evaluating POCs for new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Strong ability to challenge and guide technical decisions diplomatically.
• Experience working in a regulated or operations-driven environment (e.g., QSR, retail, e-commerce).
• Awareness of low-code platforms and how to evaluate when to use them.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
