Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Design Engineer to join our Engineering Team at Pyramid E&C. The ideal candidate should have 10-20 years of experience in detailed instrumentation engineering and design for Oil & Gas EPC. Responsibilities: Preparation and review of instrumentation deliverables including P&IDs, instrument index, hook-ups, cable routing, JB layouts , and single-line diagrams . Preparation of instrument data sheets and specifications for field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level), control valves, and analyzers. Design and specification of DCS/PLC/SCADA-based control systems . Technical bid evaluation and vendor document review. Development and approval of installation drawings , MTOs , and equipment layouts in 2D/3D environment. Co-ordination with internal disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process) and vendors for alignment of design requirements. Participation in FAT, SAT, commissioning and plant start-up activities. Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards such as ISA, IEC, API, etc. Lead a team of instrumentation engineers, designers, and draughtsmen. Technical Competencies: In-depth knowledge of Instrumentation Design and Engineering . Hands-on experience with control system architecture, loop drawings , and interlock philosophy . Proficiency in detailed engineering of greenfield and brownfield projects. Software Skills: Experience with SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI / Intools) , SP3D , PDMS , E3D , and other enterprise-level engineering platforms. Special Attributes: Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to manage and mentor teams. Proven experience in multi-disciplinary engineering environments . Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent. Preferred Industry: Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or similar process plant sectors.
