Job Description

Technical Skills:

Supervise and lead a team of fabricators, fitters, welders, and helpers to execute fabrication and assembly work as per drawings and project requirements.
Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Experience in Pressure Vessel and Heat exchanger manufacturing.
Coordinate with project engineers, quality inspectors, and material handlers to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow.
Review and interpret fabrication drawings, assign work accordingly, and provide technical guidance to workers.
Monitor use of tools, equipment, and materials to prevent wastage and ensure cost efficiency.

Train and mentor workers to improve productivity, work practices, and skill development.
Maintain discipline, attendance, and adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
Report daily progress, manpower deployment, material shortages, and challenges to management.
Assist in planning, sequencing jobs, and allocation of workforce to meet project deadlines.
Supervise and coordinate NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities, including RT (Radiographic Testing), MPI, DPI in coordination with QC.
Monitor and ensure successful execution of hydro testing and other pressure/leak tests as per project specifications.

Software/System Skills :

Basic MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), AutoCAD, PDMS

Special Skills

Good Communication in English (Written & Spoken)
Excellent knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, welding, fitting, pickling).
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with ability to manage shop-floor workforce effectively.
