Designation: Associate Department: Assembly (Nuclear) Formal education: Diploma - Mechanical only ( No other qualification) Professional experience: 3 to 7 years Role & responsibilities: Carry out complete assembly of RSR pump and other components in shop. Carry out pump assembly activity in following steps. Rotor Assembly Assembly measurements and calculations. Final pump assembly with all necessary connections and attachments. Assist to Q.A.Engineer in pump testing/stage and final inspection. Assist client in client inspection and strip down test. Clean working place & keep tools & instruments back in place at the end of shift. Carry out grinding required for balancing of the individual part/rotor. Carry out grinding/debarring/sharp edges removal of in process//finished machined parts. Set up and arrangement for helium leak test . Carry out hydro test of various parts. Maintain records and reports as required. Pump installation and commissioning at Site. Tilting of heavy jobs using crane. Working practices to be followed accordingly ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001. Working Knowledge of SAP-PP module related to Assembly. Any other work incidental to the job, as assigned by the superiors from time to time. Carryout pump assembly ,installation, repair, service activity at site.. Preferred candidate profile: Knowledge of assemblies of High pressure multistage pumps is must.
