Solar Service Engineer

Job Purpose

To design, install, test, and maintain solar power systems, ensuring high performance, quality, and safety standards across all residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and plan solar PV systems based on client requirements and site feasibility.

* Conduct site assessments, shadow analysis, and load calculations.

* Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and BOQ (Bill of Quantity).

* Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar systems.

* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

* Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and customers for smooth project execution.

* Ensure compliance with safety, electrical, and quality standards.

* Maintain documentation for project reports and system performance.

* Support the sales team with technical insights and feasibility reports.

Key Skills & Competencies

* Strong technical knowledge of *solar PV systems* (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid).

* Proficiency in *AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Office*, and electrical design tools.

* Good understanding of *electrical wiring, inverters, and energy storage systems*.

* Analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage field teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

* Effective communication and time management.

Qualification & Experience

* Education: Diploma or B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Energy Engineering.

* Experience: Minimum 1 to 5 years in Solar Project Design / Execution / Maintenance.

Salary

* Negotiable – based on experience and technical proficiency.

* Work Schedule :Full-time, 6 days working (Sunday weekly off).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
