Business Development Manager – Solar

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar (Rooftop / Utility / Open Access) segment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, EPC partners, developers, and channel partners
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
• Lead the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closure
• Coordinate with technical, engineering, and operations teams for project feasibility and execution support
• Prepare and present business proposals, MIS reports, and sales forecasts
• Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums

Key Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the

  solar / renewable energy sector

• Strong understanding of solar rooftop, utility-scale, or C&I projects
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of Chennai and Tamil Nadu solar market
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities
• Willingness to travel as required

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• MBA (Marketing / Sales) will be an added advantage
