Role summary

You will train learners in Manual & Automation Testing, design assessments and projects, and mentor them towards job-readiness. You’ll own end-to-end delivery for batches—curriculum, labs, evaluations, and placement support coordination.

What you’ll do (key responsibilities)

Deliver instructor-led sessions on SDLC/STLC, test design techniques (boundary, equivalence, decision tables, state transition), defect life cycle, test planning, test case design, review & traceability.

Teach Automation fundamentals: Selenium WebDriver (or Playwright/Cypress), Python/Java + PyTest/TestNG, Page Object Model, basic BDD (Behave/Cucumber).

Cover API testing (Postman, REST basics), SQL for testers, Git/GitHub, and CI basics (pipeline overview).

Introduce mobile testing (Android emulators), basics of performance testing (JMeter concepts).

Set up labs, exercises, quizzes, and mini-projects/capstones; evaluate objectively with rubrics.

Track attendance, learner progress, at-risk students; run doubt-clearing and revision clinics.

Maintain/up-level curriculum and slides; add industry examples and bug reports from real apps.

Coordinate with the placements team for mock interviews, CV reviews, and interview prep.

Keep batch documentation audit-ready (attendance, scores, feedback, completion).

Must-have qualifications

Bachelor’s in Engineering/Science/CS (or equivalent).

1–2 years as a Testing Trainer or QA Engineer with training/mentoring experience.

Hands-on with Manual testing, Selenium (or Playwright/Cypress), Postman, SQL, Git.

Strong communication, classroom facilitation, and empathy for first-time learners.

Good to have

ISTQB CTFL, ISO/IEC 25010 (or higher).

Exposure to Python/Java test frameworks (PyTest/Unittest or TestNG/JUnit), Robotic Process Automation.

Basics of Jira/Azure DevOps, JMeter, Docker concepts for testers.

Prior experience designing assessments or capstone projects.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
