Software Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Test Engineer with a strong background in both Automation and Manual Testing. As a key member of our testing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of testing methodologies, be proficient in various automation tools and programming languages, and have experience in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end software testing activities, including both manual and automated testing.
• Utilize your expertise in Automation/Manual Testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC to design effective test cases and test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or other supported programming languages.
• Execute automation scripts and analyze results to identify defects, bottlenecks, and performance issues.
• Expand automation coverage by developing and maintaining mobile automation tests using Appium or similar tools.
• Stay updated with industry trends and tools, recommending improvements to the testing process and implementing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
• Participate in Agile-Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-up meetings.
• Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Build end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc., integrating the automation framework.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing within the testing team, contributing to the growth and development of team members.

AI-Specific Testing (Preferred):

• Test data pipelines, model outputs, and predictions for accuracy and reliability.
• Validate AI algorithms and identify potential biases, inconsistencies, or performance issues.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of AI features, including training workflows and model deployment.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Software Testing, with a strong emphasis on Automation.
• Proficiency in Manual Testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC concepts.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium with Java or other supported programming languages.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Katalon or similar technologies is a plus.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience working with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments, particularly with the Scrum methodology.
• The Ideal candidates should have exposure to automated testing using WebDriverIO, NodeJS and Javascript, Mocha and Chai frameworks. Exposure to Allure reports is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
