Software Tester

Job Title: Software Tester (Female)
Location: Kochi
Experience: 1–3 Years
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Software Tester (female) with 1–3 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic QA team in Kochi. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in manual and/or automation testing, possess a keen eye for detail, and be committed to ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual and/or automated test cases to ensure product quality and performance.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to understand and validate requirements.
• Conduct regression, functional, usability, and performance testing.
• Prepare detailed test reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure timely delivery of testing tasks while meeting project quality standards.

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), SDLC, and QA best practices.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing; knowledge of automation tools is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with web and mobile application testing environments.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in BCA, MCA, B.Tech, B.Sc (CS/IT), or equivalent.
• Candidates who have completed certified software testing training programs with relevant practical experience are preferred.
