Software Test Lead (Malaysia - Onsite)

Job Summary:

Test Lead with 10–12 years of experience

Experience: 10+ years

Work Location: Malaysia (Onsite)

Contract - 1 year, extendable

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 5 testers across the software development lifecycle.
• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes.
• Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Oversee test execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Ensure thorough test coverage including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement in testing practices.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical and domain expertise.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10–12 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical understanding of AWS Cloud, NodeJS, and Java Full Stack environments.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Note : Financial service industry is good to have.
