Who are we looking for?

Designation : Software Test Engineer (React / Java Projects)
Experience Range : 3+ years

What is the work?

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing, built using React and Java-based technologies
• Test UI/UX components developed using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring usability and responsiveness
• Validate backend functionality and business logic for Java-based services
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger
• Create, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data
• Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar defect tracking tools
• Collaborate with development teams and client stakeholders to understand requirements and provide early feedback
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent behavior across platforms
• Support UAT testing and production release validation
• Assist with test automation activities where applicable

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience in software testing of web applications
• Strong experience in testing React-based user interfaces
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM structure
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies
• Experience in API testing and mobile/device testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA preferred)
• Proficiency in Java-based test automation, including writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git)
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
