Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing, built using React and Java-based technologies
Test UI/UX components developed using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring usability and responsiveness
Validate backend functionality and business logic for Java-based services
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger
Create, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data
Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar defect tracking tools
Collaborate with development teams and client stakeholders to understand requirements and provide early feedback
Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies
Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent behavior across platforms
Support UAT testing and production release validation
Assist with test automation activities where applicable

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software testing of web applications
Strong experience in testing React-based user interfaces
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM structure
Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC
Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies
Experience in API testing and mobile/device testing
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA preferred)
Proficiency in Java-based test automation, including writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit
Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git)
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
