Software Test Engineer (QA)

We are seeking a proactive Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to architect, develop, and implement modern test automation frameworks for our enterprise-scale web and mobile applications. This role is central to integrating robust automated testing platforms directly into our DevSecOps/CI-CD pipelines, significantly improving software delivery speed and quality.

This role requires a true automation developer's mindset, focusing on reusable code, performance, and continuous integration.

Core Responsibilities: Automation & Architecture

• Framework Development: Architect, design, and develop data-driven, modular automation frameworks using Java to support testing of complex web, mobile, and API applications.
• Scripting & Execution: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts primarily using Selenium and Appium for maximum test coverage.
• CI/CD Integration: Facilitate the integration of automation platforms with continuous integration tools (Jenkins / AWS / Azure) and utilize Git for version control.
• Performance Engineering: Design and execute Load and Performance tests to measure application conformance against performance benchmarks.
• Mentorship: Collaborate with application developers, and mentor junior team members on best practices in test automation and framework utilization.

Must-Have Technical Skills & Experience

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Software Testing and automation development within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Mandatory Stack: Proven, hands-on experience developing test automation solutions using Selenium with Java.
• Mobile/API Testing: Experience developing automation for both mobile applications (Appium) and API testing (Rest Assured / Postman).
• Frameworks: Working knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber and testing frameworks like TestNG / JUnit.
• Quality Concepts: Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and creating detailed test scenarios and cases.
• Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with defect tracking and version control tools (JIRA, Git/Bitbucket).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹333,840.98 - ₹1,489,768.38 per year
