Software Quality Engineer

Role Overview: As a Software Quality Engineer at Sphera, you will be crucial in refining and executing the test strategy for the Sphera Intelligent Author (IA) product line. Your role will involve creating, maintaining, and executing Test Plans, Test Suites, and Test Cases through manual and automated testing using innovative technologies and methodologies. Your attention to detail and adaptability to changing priorities will be essential in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure completion of all testing phases for the assigned products - Define Test Plans, Test Specifications, Test Suites, and Test Cases for thorough testing - Conduct various testing activities such as Installation, Configuration, Integration, Acceptance, Manual, Functional, Automation, Performance, and Regression testing - Automate critical new features using test automation tools - Log product issues in the defect tracking system - Assist Technical Support in replicating customer escalation issues - Collaborate with diverse teams including Development, QA, Software Support, Product Management, and Services locally and remotely Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of QA experience with exposure to Software Development - 2+ years of QA Automation experience including UI and API automation - Familiarity with automation tools such as Postman, Karate, REST, GraphQL, Selenium, C#, and Desktop Application Automation Tools - Proficiency in creating and executing SQL queries (SQL SERVER & ORACLE) - Previous experience in testing Web Services - Knowledge of benchmarking and performance testing is a plus Additional Details: Sphera is focused on customer satisfaction with a quality-oriented approach.
