Software Quality Engineer

As a Software Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify bugs and issues, create test cases, and report any defects found during the testing process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop formal test plans and test cases - Utilize formal testing techniques such as regression, integration, load, and usability testing - Conduct web testing and have experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Perform SQL queries and have experience with SQL Server 2000-2005 - Utilize programming skills in VB, C++, C# (preferred), and Visual Studio 2005 - Familiarity with .Net framework and Windows operating systems - Experience with source control tools like Visual SourceSafe - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Complete formal software testing training or certification **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in BS/CS or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience - 5 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance - Experience with software test automation tools (Test Partner, QA Run, QA Director, a plus) - Familiarity with formal test methods and QA programs - Proficiency in preparing formal test plans, test cases, and bug reporting If you are someone who meets these qualifications and is passionate about ensuring the quality of software products, we would love to have you on our team.
