Software Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Perform manual testing for web applications, APIs, and mobile interfaces.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout development cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 23 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing.
• Strong proficiency in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience in both Manual and Automation testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with test case creation, execution, and bug reporting.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub or similar version control systems.
