Software QA Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer (Software Tester) with around 2 years of experience in manual testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases, identifying and tracking bugs, and ensuring high-quality delivery of web and mobile applications. The candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to collaborate closely with developers and product teams to maintain and improve overall product quality.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute test cases based on requirements.
• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira / ClickUp / Trello.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure timely closure.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to clarify issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and review meetings.
• Maintain test documentation and prepare test summary reports.
• Ensure overall product quality by identifying gaps and suggesting improvements.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and basic API testing (Postman).

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience writing and executing detailed test cases.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, Trello, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
• Basic understanding of API testing tools (Postman preferred).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
