WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a qualified and Senior Level Software Project Manager who will manage and work closely with the development teams to ensure that all software projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, responsible for managing the development process, from planning and design to implementation and deployment to join our dynamic team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities as a Senior Level Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery and implementation of complex cloud-based technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective project management strategies and processes, focusing on both mobile and web-based applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Create detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, dependencies, and required resources.
• Team Management: Manage and oversee the software development team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and support to complete their work on time and to a high standard. Delegate tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
• Budget Management: Manage the project budget, track expenses, and ensure the project is delivered within budget constraints.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor the project for potential risks and take proactive steps to address them.
• Communication: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, team members, and external partners to keep them informed about project progress, risks, and issues. Facilitate effective communication between team members to ensure alignment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that the software developed by the team meets the required quality standards. Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures, conduct code reviews, and ensure thorough and effective testing.
• Documentation: Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and other relevant documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and assess project performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall project success.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years’ Jira administration experience.
• Familiarity with Coda or equivalent platforms (Notion, Airtable, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, issue types, and Agile boards.
• Experience with automation rules and AI-based task/reporting tools.
• Basic scripting/API familiarity is a plus.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• 3-5 years of experience in software project management.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience as a project manager in a software development environment.
• Experience overseeing software development using technologies like AngularJS, Node.js, AWS, and Flutter.
• An extensive understanding of Management Information Systems, software development, IT infrastructure, and relational database systems.
• Experience in managing a team remotely.

A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

• Start-up experience.
• Knowledge of restaurant tech and operations.
