Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, guiding them through the software development lifecycle
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications
• Ensure that the team follows best practices, coding standards, and proper documentation
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring the timely delivery of software solutions
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and career development for team members
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and post-launch phases
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the most efficient tools and frameworks
• Report on project progress, risks, and resource needs to senior management

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience in a software development role with at least 3–5 years of experience managing development teams
• Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.)
• In-depth understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Must have the legal right to work in Singapore (valid work permit or Singaporean citizenship)
