Software Design Manager

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Define and drive software architecture and design strategies aligned with product and business goals.

• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, product management, and UX/UI design.

• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and performance.

• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development efficiency.

• Support risk management, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.

• Develop the software that manages electronic devices.

Who You are?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or C#.

• Strong proficiency in Operatins systems like Windows, Linux, RTOS such as VX works and integrity.

• Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to trace difficult problems using a variety of tools (debugger, JTAG emulator, logic analyser, oscilloscope

• Knowledge of serial interfaces and peripherals (I2S, I2C, SPI, 10G/25G Ethernet).

• Knowledge of GCC compiler/linker and debugging tools on Windows/Linux platform

• Good Knowledge of communication protocols TCP/IP, security protocols and UDP.
