About the position: (Gurugram)

The License Compliance Auditor at JOTWANI ASSOCIATES (a law firm based in New Delhi and NOIDA), plays a crucial role in supporting our client's License Compliance program in India and the SAARC region. This position involves conducting IT audits of Software Products Installed at our client's customer IT network, ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to foster positive relationships while driving audit initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive IT audit pipeline by establishing a list of audit candidates based on data mining.
  • Running and Generating Reports by use of IT Tools to identify potential gaps in the organisation's IT networks and advising them on the gap between legal software and pirated installation.
  • Work with Client Business Teams to identify potential candidates for audits.
  • Idntify potential non-compliant use of our Client software and utilise the IT Audit Program to bring customers back into compliance.
  • Review audit nominations to ensure completeness of data regarding identified customers.
  • Report on Audit program status, including forecasting and tracking revenue and expenses.
  • Communicate case/program status and progress to LC Regional leaders and/or investigators.
  • Coordinate audit engagements with audit partners.
  • Partner with the Licence Compliance team to ensure efficient negotiations that result in the best resolution for customers and our clients.
  • Establish lessons learned, best practices, and improvements for future audit deployment.
  • Detail likely non-compliant situations and support investigative processes.
  • Review customer M&A activities and analyse Agreements, inventory, and locations of use for impacted customers.
  • Determine if customer M&A results in contractual non-compliance and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, especially in Software Industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in a complex global matrix software organisation.
  • Ability to bring together stakeholders from diverse disciplines such as sales, marketing, law firms, and manufacturing.
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-making processes.
  • Strong prioritising and multitasking skills with competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Highly organized with critical attention to detail.
  • Functional use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and knowledge of Visio, Access, or SQL.
  • Willingness to learn proprietary internal tools.
