This role will be a Full Stack Web Developer (PHP) who has experience developing RESTful services and content‑driven web applications and deploying on on‑prem and AWS infrastructure using the technologies listed below. They are expected to work closely with Subject Matter Experts, developers, technical project managers, principal engineers and business stakeholders to ensure that application solutions meet business/customer requirements..

  Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain content‑driven web experiences using PHP and Twig within a CMS environment (Drupal preferred).
  • Create and customize Twig themes and templates, and build responsive, accessible UI with HTML/CSS and jQuery.
  • Develop reusable modules and plugins and integrate REST APIs and third‑party services.
  • Optimize performance and caching (e.g., Varnish/CDN) and apply security best practices.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD with GitHub. Support deployments to Acquia Cloud Platform (Dev/Stage/Prod) and on‑prem/AWS environments.
  • Manage Acquia Cloud environments including pipelines, cloud hooks, backups, and environment configuration, and monitor with New Relic while tuning Varnish/CDN settings.
  • Partner with content authors, designers, and product owners to deliver high‑quality features end‑to‑end.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Lead code reviews and ensure best practices are followed across the team.

  Qualifications

  Required Skills:

  • 8-11 years of experience
  • PHP (7+/8), Twig templating, JavaScript/jQuery, and HTML5/CSS3.
  • Strong experience with Drupal theming and module development (or equivalent CMS templating).
  • Proven experience building RESTful services and integrating external APIs, with familiarity with modern front‑end tooling.
  • Expertise in secure coding, performance tuning, accessibility, SEO, and caching (Varnish/CDN) practices.
  • Databases: MySQL and PostgreSQL, with strong understanding of schema design and query optimization.
  • Strong experience with the Acquia Cloud Platform, including environments, deployments, pipelines, cloud hooks, and Acquia CLI. Acquia Site Factory experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of AWS for web apps (S3, CloudFront, RDS, API Gateway, Lambda).
  • CI/CD with Git/GitHub workflows.
  • Good knowledge in Healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
