About The Team
The Post-Purchase team is responsible for handling all processes and customer interactions that occur after an order is placed, including managing order history, tracking order details, and overseeing post-order activities.
Job Summary
As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our applications. you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying scalable and reliable enterprise applications using Java and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative products and be a part of a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lead, Product Development and team member to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient backend solutions.
- Develop and maintain APIs to support other Intergrated systems.
- Integrate data storage solutions and ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring high levels of application performance, security, and scalability.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in development.
Years Of Experience
- 2 – 5 years of experience in software development or a related field.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS or related field.
Skill Set Required
- Strong in programming, data structure and algorithms.
- Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Webflux and related frameworks.
- Strong in Java 1.8+, GoF Design Patterns.
- Experience working with Kafka.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or any relational database.
- Worked in developing microservices.
- Understanding of containerization (docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with development tools like Git, Gradle, Maven, Sonar, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.
- Experience with TDD, code testability standards, JUnit/Mockito.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CICD model of development.
- Agile project experience along with working on Agile tools like JIRA.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and Good written and verbal communication skills.
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Experience in working in GCP or any other cloud platform
