Mandatory Skills

• Java (with at least 2+ years hands-on experience in GCP)
• J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST-based microservices using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related frameworks.
• Design scalable, cloud-native solutions deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Create web front ends using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Work in cloud container environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) for application deployment and orchestration.
• Perform SQL and NoSQL data manipulation in databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Teradata, and BigQuery.
• Implement and manage build pipelines using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Tekton, Gradle).
• Utilize Git for source control and participate in collaborative code reviews.
• Follow engineering best practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD), paired programming, clean code, and Agile development methodologies.
• Work with messaging and streaming tools like Kafka and MQTT.
• Utilize tools such as Terraform for infrastructure provisioning in cloud environments.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience practicing Extreme Programming (XP) disciplines such as test-first development and mob/pair programming.
• Knowledge and implementation experience in Spring Boot microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Clean Code principles and Lean software development.
  

Educational Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Preferred: Master’s Degree
