Major Responsibilities: ● Design and build complex systems that can scale rapidly with little maintenance. ● Design and implement effective service/product interfaces. ● Able to lead and successfully complete projects with minimum guidance from a manager/lead. ● Provide technical support for many applications within the technology portfolio. ● Respond to and troubleshoot complex problems quickly, efficiently, and effectively. ● Handle multiple competing priorities in an agile, fast-paced environment. ● Create and maintain documentation for your projects. ● Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive toward root cause identification and resolution. ● Take responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye toward improving product quality. Required Experience/Skills: ● Relevant work experience of 3-4 years in a software engineer role. ● Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. ● Hands-on experience building backend applications in C/C++. ● Experience in building backend systems using JAVA could be differentiating factor. ● Excellent SQL skills and a good understanding of relational database concepts. ● Good experience with different Operating Systems, with emphasis on Unix variants & good hands-on Linux commands. ● Knowledge of GCP & AWS is not a must but a differentiating factor. ● Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously ● Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
