Software Engineer - .Net

As a Software Engineer - .Net at Barclays, your role involves independently producing requirements breakdowns, writing user stories, and managing the delivery in accordance with Business requirement design. You will ensure all requirements traceability is factored into design/code/test deliverables. Additionally, you will identify and manage necessary controls/RAIDS and assist in diagnosing system problems encountered during various phases. Documenting functional specifications and changes and maintaining the application knowledge repository are also part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Produce requirements breakdowns and write user stories - Manage the delivery in accordance with Business requirement design - Ensure requirements traceability in design/code/test deliverables - Identify and manage necessary controls/RAIDS - Assist in diagnosing system problems - Document functional specifications and changes - Maintain the application knowledge repository Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of OOPs and Design Patterns - Knowledge of .Net framework 3.5 and above, C#, WPF, and MVVM - Deployment process knowledge including Bit Bucket, GitHub, Veracode, SonarQube for Code Quality - Proven working experience in C# with WPF - Experience with MS SQL Server Database, programming (XML or ETL frameworks), Data Warehousing - Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills Barclays is looking for individuals who are self-motivated with good communication skills and have experience in working with custom workflow solutions or commercial CRM/workflow solutions.
