Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for applications, tools, networks etc. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features Maintain code integrity and organization Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree 2+ years of experience working in UI frameworks with React JS. and React Native Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS etc. Working experience with Web APIs and (REST) based communication Experience Experience with Git, Team Foundation Server or similar source control programs Working Experience with MYSQL and nosql databases such as Mongo DB, Cassandra etc Testing experience in JUnit/Spock/Groovy Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives Experience of working in a global environment Hands-on experience with SQL queries Hands-on experience with any of the IDE (IntelliJ/Eclipse/RAD etc.) Solid knowledge of MVC architecture using JavaScript (e.g., Angular) Knowledge of Java will be added advantage Working knowledge of Responsive Web Design techniques, Pattern Libraries and/or Atomic Design Understanding and implementation of security and data protection At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
