to connect them with exceptional tech professionals for this role.We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank's Reconciliations Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes
Manage deployment of code to PROD environment.
Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation
Demonstrate site reliability principles and practices every day and champions the adoption of site reliability throughout the team
Collaborate with others to create and implement observability and reliability designs for complex systems that are robust, stable, and do not incur additional toil or technical debt
Work toward becoming an expert on the applications and platforms in your remit while understanding their interdependencies and limitations
Evolve and debug critical components of applications and platforms
Provide comprehensive and ongoing guidance, tools, and solutions to support the firms’ growth
Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS and implement/Enhance infrastructure automation via IaaC using Terraform

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Proficient with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with automation tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
Practical cloud native experience

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Experience in automating deployment using Jenkins or any build server
