Memory Validation Engineer

Required Qualifications:

Experience

• 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in memory validation, focusing on DD3, DD4, and DD5 technologies.
• Strong experience with memory protocols, such as DDR, LPDDR, and related memory interfaces.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in validation and verification of high-speed memory interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Familiarity with memory controller architectures and signal integrity concepts.

Software/Tools

• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting (Python, Perl, TCL).
• Knowledge of simulation tools and methodologies for memory validation (e.g., Verilog, SystemVerilog, or similar languages).

Communication & Documentation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document validation results and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ability to generate comprehensive and clear validation reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  DDR4/DDR5

  memory controllers or related platform validation.
• Familiarity with memory performance characterization (e.g., bandwidth, latency).
• Experience with high-performance, high-volume memory solutions (server, mobile, or embedded systems).
• Knowledge of memory interface hardware (e.g., DIMMs, SO-DIMMs) and related standards.
