Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Core Java–based applications in line with business requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable Java code following object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and performance issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to unit testing and integration testing, ensuring application stability and quality.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned modules or components.

Work Experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Strong hands‑on experience in Core Java with solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Experience in developing and maintaining scalable and high‑performance Java applications.
• Experience supporting Java applications in Linux‑based environments
• Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and well‑documented code following standard coding practices
• Strong knowledge in Requirement analysis, Design and Implementation in Java.
• Unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities.
• Experience in problem solving/troubleshooting/Debugging skills on Java.
• Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, bug fixes and enhancement activities
• Technical communication with internal and external stake holders will be part of job.
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
• Proficiency with Build Tools: Gradle or Maven
• Experience in Scripting: Linux Shell scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
• Good Understanding of Repositories Preferably Git
  

Desired Skills

• Preferred understanding of Angular, Swing, Jenkins and CI/CD
• Experience in developing software applications for Medical Devices domain NM, CT, XR, MR, Common Platform, DICOM standard
• Knowledge in Health Care Standards & regulations like DICOM, IHE, HIPPA
• Familiar with tools like WinScp, Putty, ClearQuest, Collaborator, SVN,ALM, JDICOM/DVT/DCMTK
