Job Title: Software Engineer (C#, WPF, SQL), AVP

Corporate Title: AVP

Role Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, WPF, and SQL, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will collaborate directly with local business stakeholders to deliver tailor made solution.

Your key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain a software application (Risk Navigator) using C#, WPF, and SQL.
Collaborate with other engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality and reliable software.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Support the migration to .net core and microservice architecture
Connecting to data services , designing and providing APIs for third parties.

Your skills and experience

Proficiency in C# programming language and .net Framework.
Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for developing desktop applications.
Strong knowledge of SQL on Microsoft SQL Server and experience with database design and management.
Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jira, TeamCity, Jenkins),
Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development with C#, WPF, and SQL.
Experience in financial industry / asset management is required for proper discussion with stakeholders
Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
