Job Description

Job Summary:

AS400 Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and support applications on the AS400 platform.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of programs.
Work on enhancements and production support for AS400-based applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Optimize performance and ensure data integrity across applications.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in
AS400/iSeries
development.
Proficiency in
RPG (IV/LE), CL, COBOL
, and
DB2/400
.
Experience with
file handling, subfiles, and interactive programs
.
Good understanding of
software development lifecycle (SDLC)
.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
modernization tools
or integration with web services.
Familiarity with
Agile methodologies
.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
