Software Development Lead

We are seeking a Lead – Software Development to manage end-to-end software delivery, ensuring quality, timely execution, and alignment with business objectives. The role involves leading development teams, enforcing engineering best practices, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting the Digital Innovation Manager in driving the digital roadmap, innovation, and continuous improvement .

The Lead will oversee daily development activities, ensure scalable and secure solutions, manage multiple projects, and maintain code quality and compliance with security standards. The role includes mentoring team members, fostering collaboration, and driving automation and innovation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

The Lead – Software Development is responsible for driving technical excellence and end-to-end project delivery across multiple software initiatives. The role involves leading application design and development, managing Agile delivery, ensuring quality and security compliance, mentoring teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to innovation and digital transformation initiatives.

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable and secure applications
  
• Enforce coding standards, security guidelines, and best engineering practices
  
• Plan and deliver projects using Agile methodologies, managing timelines, risks, and resources
  
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, designers, and business stakeholders
  
• Review code, guide technical decisions, and ensure CI/CD-driven deployments
  
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering collaboration and accountability
  
• Ensure compliance with data security, and organizational standards
  
• Drive process improvements, automation, and adoption of modern technologies
  
• Provide project updates, dashboards, and inputs to product roadmaps
  
Support innovation, proofs of concept, and digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
  
• 6–10+ years of development experience with 2–3 years in a leadership role
  
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale applications
  
• Strong full-stack experience (React, Node.js, PHP, MySQL)
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, DevOps, and CI/CD
  
• Agile/Scrum experience and secure development practices
  
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
  
• Knowledge of automation, AI/ML, or analytics is a plus
  
AEC or enterprise product experience is a plus
